Leave policy
What is Leave policy?
A leave policy is the set of rules a company defines for time off - how much annual and sick leave employees get, how it accrues, how much carries over, and who approves requests.
A clear leave policy settles the questions that cause friction: how many days, granted up front or accrued monthly, how much rolls into next year, and who signs off. Holding it in the HR tool rather than a document means balances and approvals follow the same rules automatically.
Entitlements vary by country and contract, so the useful part is configuration: set entitlement, accrual, and carryover once and let the system apply them. HREvio handles annual and sick leave with accrual, carryover, and an approval flow.
