HREvio vs BambooHR: an honest 2026 comparison for SMBs

We build HREvio, so read this knowing who wrote it. We'll still tell you where BambooHR is the better fit - a customer on the wrong tool churns fast and helps nobody, us included.

BambooHR does not publish public pricing (as of June 2026); figures are quote-based and per employee. HREvio prices exclude VAT; annual billing saves ~17%.

There's a second difference around data residency: BambooHR is US-based. HREvio is hosted in the EU with GDPR built into signup. For any company processing EU employee data, where that data lives is not a detail.

We process EU employee data, so we built the product the way we'd want our own data handled.

Who should pick which

Pick BambooHR if you're a larger or US-based company that wants a full suite, a mobile app, and an established brand, and you're comfortable with per-employee pricing and a sales process.

Pick HREvio if you're an SMB that wants core HR done well at a flat, public price, hosted in the EU, with no sales call. At 25 people you pay EUR 29, and you saw the price before you signed up.
